Ngong Ping:Tradition on Display

This village was designed to accent the cultural and spiritual atmosphere of Lantau Island. They incorporated traditional Chinese architecture to enhance those aspects of this island to illustrate its beauty without over development. There are stores for shopping as well as eateries. I stopped by the store/exhibit for history of chopstick that is a must see. They also have a few things that are geared for kids ( a theater with a monkey movie ). This is also where you pick up the Ngong Ping Cable Car 360º which connects with Tung Chung. The grounds are beautiful and the air is fresh it’s a beautiful place to visit and is located near the Tian Tan Buddha.
